Top Picks | April 2025

It’s that time of the month again—Top Picks! This month, I have a little bit of this and a little bit of that—all of which I think you’ll enjoy just as much as I do. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Le Bon Shoppe The Little Boy Tee

I love a high-quality cropped tee, and nothing compares to Le Bon Shoppe! I have three in various earthy tones, and I’m obsessed. Whether I’m pairing them with a casual outfit of jeans and boots or need a simple tee to coordinate with a skirt, these tees are always on repeat.

They wear and wash beautifully, and they’re made from the softest cotton! I buy mine locally from There There, a sustainable boutique, but you can also find them online, too.

Sofie Pavitt Mandelic Clearing Serum

If you have acne-prone skin like I do, I can’t recommend this serum enough. Think of it as working low and slow—it’s incredibly gentle on the most sensitive skin types (yep, that’s me). Formulated with mandelic acid, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol, this serum gently exfoliates the skin while hydrating and protecting the skin barrier.

How I Use It: I only use this serum in the morning after applying my toner and essence. The key is to use it at a different time than when you use other actives like retinol.

The Sleepy Tie

Tired of doing your hair, only for it to look terrible the next day? Same. Until now! I started using The Sleepy Tie last year, and it’s become part of my daily routine—no matter what style I’m wearing. Whether my hair is straight or wavy from an at-home blowout, I absolutely love how ingenious this product is.

How I Use It: Each night, I brush through my hair with my dae hairbrush. Then, I gather all my hair at the crown and wrap it around the Sleepy Tie. When I wake up, my hair not only has volume, but my waves look just as good as they did the day before—sometimes even better!

Dickies Stonewashed Duck Unlined Chore Coat

I bought this coat from the men’s department at Urban Outfitters, which is honestly my favorite place to shop for jackets. We all know chore coats are trending right now, and if you’re anything like me, you probably don’t want the same one that everyone else has. So, when I found this one from Dickies, I knew it would be the perfect oversized option!

I love layering it with tees and sweaters underneath, and I also enjoy wearing it over dresses and skirts. It’s such a versatile piece, and I imagine I’ll have it in my closet for the foreseeable future. Maybe one day, after much more wear and tear, it’ll be like one of those cool vintage Carhartt coats I’ve seen on Poshmark. But for now, this one will do!
