One Dress, Two Ways

Hi, friends! Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes! I can’t believe it’s already March! This winter seems like it’s been soOoOoO long for some reason. I’m very much looking forward to spring and warmer weather, which inspired today’s post!

I’ve been dying to wear this Gal Meets Glam dress again, and today seemed like the perfect day to do so! This post is all about how you can take one dress and make it into two totally different outfits.

Let’s get started!

The Dress

When Julia Engel released her Gal Meets Glam collection for the first time last April, I was obsessed—and I still am! I love wearing dresses and it’s so cool to buy a dress from someone who loves the aesthetic of dresses as much as I do, ya know?! At one time, Gal Meets Glam dresses were sold at Anthropologie, so I stocked up while I was still working there!

I’m not usually one to wear green, but when I saw this maxi on Anthro’s website, I knew I needed it in my closet. I want to mention that this exact dress is no longer available, but there are so many other gorgeous maxi dresses in stock now! The fit of this dress is incredible, the fabric is the softest, and the length is perfect on me. Honestly, I think it’s the best elevated dress I’ve ever owned. My prom dresses were cool, but this one far surpasses them!

I don’t have tons of formal dresses, but I’m glad that the ones I do have are from Gal Meets Glam. They are ones that I will hopefully have in my closet forever. The mark of a great company, if ya ask me! Gal Meets Glam dresses are so well made and although they’re a touch on the formal side, they’re so easy to style down with a few key accessories.

Outfit No. 1: Off to the Farmer’s Market!

For this farmer’s market-inspired outfit, I did the most me thing—I put a graphic tee on top of my dress! Now, this dress has puffed sleeves, so although I put a graphic tee over it, I still needed a jacket on top because it looked a little funky. But, I love the way it turned out as a layered look!

Graphic Tee (Free People), Denim Jacket (Levi’s), Hat (Stetson)

Outfit No. 2: Where’s the Garden Party?!

For my garden-party inspired outfit, I decided to keep it classy and chic with my white pom short-sleeve sweater. It’s simple and easy to pair with just about anything in my closet. Additionally, I chose the pink sherpa coat to finish off the outfit because it picks up the undertones of the dress really nicely. This look is a little more elevated, but it’s still comfortable and fun!

White Pom Sweater (Anthropologie), Pink Sherpa Coat (Elodie from Nordstrom Rack)

Well, that’s all I have for ya today! I hope you enjoy the weekend!

Until next time!
