Let’s Get Fall Started

Hello, friends! I hope your Monday is starting off amazingly! I come to you from my couch as I sit here watching “The Goonies,” which just so happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Ya know, those ones that you could watch a million times and never get tired of?! Goonies FOREVER!

Anyways, today I wanted to share one of my new favorite outfits for fall! When I was brainstorming ideas of an outfit I wanted to showcase, I was immediately drawn to this pink fur coat. I know many of you are going to ask where it’s from, but I suck and can’t remember for the life of me where I got it. If you’re from the Cleveland area, I know that I bought it at one of the boutiques on Main Street in Chagrin Falls!

It’s definitely a lighter jacket that I probably won’t get much wear out of as we head into winter. This jacket was my go-to during the South Carolina winters, but obviously I’m not living there anymore, so things will have to change! I haven’t been through a true Northeast Ohio winter since I was a senior in high school, so this year should be interesting!

In terms of blogging, I’ve been working really hard to get better about my time management skills. I’m not perfect, and trying to figure out how to fit all the things I want to do into one day isn’t easy, but it can be done! I always remind myself that I have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyoncé does, so I gotta use them to the best of my ability!

For example: I took these pictures on a day off this past weekend — a day that was filled with a bunch of other tasks, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! If you’re passionate about something, you’ll always find time for it. I love creating content for this blog, and I think it’s something that I’ll always do throughout my life!

As I get older, my style evolves, and I think that’s so fun to see in photos. It’s like this blog is my own personal highlight reel, with the addition of blog posts that shed a little light on where and what I was doing at that period in my life. Ya know?!

I laugh now that I look at these pictures because the tree that’s in the background was literally the only tree I could find that had leaves changing. Got to make the best of your situation, ya know! Hopefully there will be more leaves soon so I can take some epic fall outfit photos for you all, but until then!

This taupe sweater is so obscure and weird, but I love it. It was a gift from Forever 21 a couple years ago, but I’ve still never seen anything else like it. As I’ve mentioned before, I have reactions to wool, so when it comes to sweaters, I have a really hard time shopping. Of course, wool is nice and warm, but I can’t do it! This sweater is a poly-blend with no wool, so it’s perfect for me! Plus, I love the chevron fringe detail!

For anyone else who has a sensitivity to wool, take the time to look up the fiber content before you buy! Whether I’m buying online or in-store, the first thing I do is check the tag in the bottom left corner seam. Save yourself the hassle by checking for wool beforehand!

Well, that’s all I have for ya today! I’m still waiting to buy more fall clothes because I haven’t been super excited about anything I’ve seen recently. So, stay tuned for more fall clothes and trends that I’m loving! 🙂

Until next time!
