Hi, friends! Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes!
For today’s blog post, I’m not talking about anything fashion or skincare related—shocking, I know!
This post is all about why you should plan a fake holiday for yourself! To start, let me rewind to pre-pandemic. In early March 2020, my friend Marissa and I decided that we wanted to plan a fake holiday to celebrate the fact that we’re both Aries.
I’m an Aries Moon and she’s an Aries Rising, so this fake holiday was obviously in typical Aries fashion! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you should check out Co-Star Astrology’s website. It can tell you what your sun, moon, and rising signs are based on a few simple questions.
We planned Aries Day to be on April 11, 2020. Obviously, our plans fell through because Ohio was on total lockdown until May. Once stores started to open back up, Aries season was over, so it didn’t make sense to do it in 2020 anymore. Flash forward to this past weekend—one year later!

Aries Day is really just a great excuse for us to pack a bunch of things we love to do into one day. The ultimate fake holiday! This year has been hard for all of us, and if creating a fake holiday brings a little fun to your day, go for it! This fake holiday planning is something I plan to continue throughout my life. It’s all about celebrating the simple things on otherwise ordinary days!
Celebrating this fake holiday was just what I needed. Now I’m going to share some of my favorite things that we did for Aries Day! Let’s get started!
Stop #1: Brassica

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Cleveland. It’s Mediterranean-inspired food, which is great for my gluten allergy. They have a cute outdoor sitting area with umbrellas, so it’s the perfect place for a summer lunch!
Stop #2: Manifest

I don’t get manicures often, but when I do, I love to go to Manifest! The staff is so kind and fun PLUS you can order drinks while you get your nails done. How awesome is that?! The overall experience can’t be matched!
Stop #3: Rising Star Coffee

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Cleveland! They have a Lavender Latte during springtime and it is the most delicious coffee drink I’ve ever had. That’s not an exaggeration in the slightest! It’s a must-try!
Stop #4: Sephora

The Sephora Spring Savings Event started this weekend, so you know we had to go and get our favorites! I really didn’t need any products that I already use, so I bought five new products I’ve never tried before! This event is great for stocking up on the products you don’t always want to buy at full price.
And that concludes Aries Day! I had such a good time being out in the world again. I’ve stayed pretty low key throughout the entire pandemic, so going out and about is always a fun treat!
I hope that this post inspired you to create your own fake holiday this year! And if you do—please let me know! I would love to hear all about it.
Until next time!
