Hi, friends! I’m back on the blog for my monthly round-up of my favorite products. If you’re interested in reading about other products I’ve raved about over the past couple of months, click here!
Let’s get started!
Matrix Brass Off Shampoo + Conditioner | $14 each

I mentioned this product in my recent Hair Secrets blog post, but it deserves a spot in my Top Picks as well! This is my go-to purple shampoo and conditioner combo. The prices for both are pretty reasonable and the formulas are so easy to use.
Since my hair is naturally brunette, this combo works to remove any brassy tones that make some of my blonde highlights look orange. I only use this shampoo + conditioner once a week. I leave the shampoo on my hair for about 3 minutes, then rinse and follow up with the conditioner for another 3 minutes.
Curology | $39.90 for a 3-month supply

THE HOLY GRAIL. I don’t know how I’ve never shared this product on the blog before, but here we are! I started using Curology about two years ago and I will never go back. Getting an appointment to see my dermatologist in Cleveland is like getting an appointment with a CEO—it’s so difficult! Who has time for that?!
When I discovered Curology, it made it so easy for me to receive professional care from a dermatologist without having to leave my home. At the time, I was going through a phase with my skin where I was experiencing more hormonal acne on my chin and cheeks. So, I made an account, uploaded pictures of all sides of my face, and then a provider prescribed me a unique formula based on the photos and questionnaire I filled out prior to submitting.
It’s that simple! Takes 10 minutes, if that! If you are struggling with acne and not sure where to start with treatment, I would give Curology a try!
Electric Sky Universal Elixir | $68

Good Medicine Beauty Lab’s products make up about 80% of my skincare regimen. What can I say—they make great formulas! This is a facial oil that doesn’t feel like a facial oil on my skin. It is loaded with activated oxygen that helps to increase luminosity while evening out skin tone and pigmentation.
I only use this face oil at nighttime as the final step in my skincare routine. Think of this oil as a treat-yourself-before-bed kind of oil. Since I started using this, my skin looks brighter, feels smoother, and looks more hydrated. Plus! It’s made with clean, all-natural ingredients. You can’t get better than that!
Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream | $52

I suffer from dry, irritated skin in the winter months, so having a face cream that I can rely on to get rid of flakiness is crucial. Prior to finding this cream, I was using another that I thought was my end all be all product. However, I started to notice my skin wasn’t absorbing the moisture in the cream as much as it needed to. TBH my skin looked dry and dull.
That’s when I knew it was time for a switch! I found this cream in Sephora’s clean beauty section of the store and decided to give it a try. Holy moly guacamole. I will NEVER go back to another cream. Ever. This face cream is TOO good. I only use it at nighttime because it’s super rich, but I still think it’s one I could use year-round.
If you feel like your skin just looks blah in the mornings, you should give this face cream a try!
ZIIP + Golden Gel | $495

I don’t think I’ve ever loved a product more than I love this one. The price tag is hefty, yes, but it is worth every penny if you ask me. I get facials pretty regularly, but with this device, I haven’t been getting them anywhere near as much. It’s a facial at home in the easiest, quickest way possible.
Unlike other facial devices on the market, ZIIP uses nanocurrent AND microcurrent to tone, sculpt, and refine the face. This device is app-connected, which means you can pull up the app and choose from a variety of treatments to target acne, dullness, pigment, puffy eyes, and so much more!
I’m not even kidding you: I used this on one of those under-the-surface zits and it was gone by the next day. It is INCREDIBLE. I honestly don’t know where my skincare routine would be without this product in it.
Well, that’s all I have for you this month!
I’ll be back on the blog next week with another new post for you!
Until next time!
Alicia
