Hi, friends! It’s been a minute since I’ve come on here because truthfully, everything that I’ve wanted to write about seems irrelevant during this unprecedented time. I think a lot of creatives have been feeling that way recently, and that’s okay! You and I are living through a worldwide pandemic—we don’t have to be productive. We don’t have to get a new hobby. We don’t have to make new routines. All we can do is the things that make us feel most comfortable during this time.
Throughout the course of this month, my self-care routine has definitely shifted a bit based on the fact that I’m spending almost all of my time inside of my home. Before social distancing, I was in the process of trying a bunch of different products, so I wanted to share them with you today!

Maddox & Rose Candle in Sea Breeze
I’ve been burning candles in quarantine like it’s my job. I love making my home smell fresh and clean, especially when I’ve been spending so much time inside my space. I tend to light one at the beginning of the work day. It has a way of keeping me relaxed while I work. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I really love this scent because it brings me a sense of serenity—almost like sitting on the beach watching the waves.

Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Perfection Concealer
I’ve been on the hunt for a new concealer for what seems like forever now. My problem is that I find one, use it for a while, then realize that it really doesn’t work the way I want it to.
I decided to give this concealer a try because I think Pat McGrath is the queen of the makeup world! I trust her opinion about products and application process more than anyone else. When I came across this concealer on Sephora, I immediately ordered my shade. It’s full coverage, super blendable, and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. I think it also sets really well with Laura Mercier’s Translucent Powder. If you’re looking for a new concealer, TRY THIS.
Clarisonic Mia Prima Facial Cleansing Brush
I’ve been using a Clarisonic cleansing brush since I was a senior in high school. My original cleansing brush was one of the originals from Clarisonic! It still works like a gem, but I decided to upgrade to this one so that I could buy some of the new brush heads that aren’t compatible with my old one.
I use my Clarisonic morning and night. I have pretty sensitive skin, but this cleansing brush is gentle and effective for getting my skin squeaky clean. I also disinfectant my brush head every week in boiling water just to make sure I’m not spreading any bacteria on my face. If you have oily skin or you’re experiencing more breakouts than you used to, I can’t recommend this device enough. It’s been a game-changer in my routine!
Lake Witch Aura Spray
I’m all about making my home environment comfy and cozy, and this spray definitely helps with that! I bought it at Coven, one of my favorite stores in Cleveland. This room spray is infused with lavender, rose, thyme, clove, and allspice. I love to spray this on my couch pillows or my bedroom pillows before I go to bed.

Good Medicine Beauty Lab Rain Replenishing Oil Cleanser
I’ve talked about the importance of double cleansing before, but just in case you’re new here, I’ll explain again! You should double cleanse with an oil-based cleanser first, followed by a water-based cleanser. The oil-based cleanser will draw out all the impurities from your skin, while removing makeup and dirt. This replenishing oil cleanser smells amazing and is super hydrating for my dry skin.
About the company: I came across Good Medicine Beauty Lab on Instagram, actually, and they’re now one of my favorite skincare companies. They are a small business based in Utah and all of their skincare products are made with clean ingredients that are derived from the desert. How cool!
