Five Items On Repeat in My Closet

Hello, friends! Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes! I’m back on the blog today to share the five items that have been on repeat in my closet as of recently!

Like anyone, I go through phases with the different pieces in my closet. Since I’ve been trying to be more conscious about what I buy and where I buy from, I’ve been exploring new styles with the pieces I already have in my closet. I’m sure you’ve seen some of these pieces on the blog before, but I’m obsessed with them, so let’s get started!

Free People High-Waisted Jeans

Alright, other than Madewell, Free People is the only other denim brand that I really love right now. I bought these jeans months ago, and they get better with every wear. In my opinion, everyone should have one reliable pair of distressed jeans. They’re a lazy-day staple for me.

When I was looking for distressed jeans, I wasn’t looking for a pair that was extremely distressed. I wanted to be able to wear them in and distress them myself, versus them being way too distressed to begin with. If you’re looking for a pair of distressed jeans, I always opt for a lighter wash denim—they just feel and look more casual.

Boyfriend Fit Denim Jacket

I like it when jackets fit a little bit looser. It just makes it easier for me to layer, which you know I love! This jacket is on repeat all seasons for me. Summer? Absolutely. Winter? With a sweater, for sure. I’m not the biggest fan of the Canadian tuxedo myself, but I would even consider wearing this jacket with a pair of dark wash jeans.

Levi’s is my go-to brand for denim jackets. They’re made with real denim—not that poly-blend cheap bullsh*t that doesn’t last. I have no doubt in my mind that this jacket is going to be in my closet for the rest of my life. Quote me on it!

Black Floral Maxi Skirt

I’m obsessed with skirts. They make me feel like me—oftentimes more than jeans do! You can find me wearing a skirt to work at least three of the five days of the week. Honestly, I think I wear this skirt once a week and I have no shame about that! The fit is perfect for the office and I can pair it with anything!

I love wearing this skirt with sweaters, graphic tees, Dr. Martens, Everlane Day Heels—the sky is the limit. I’ve mentioned it before on the blog, but if you’re on the hunt for great skirts, go to Urban Outfitters! Seriously my favorite place to shop for them.

Good Vibes Tee

This is one of my favorite graphic tees in my closet right now. My parents got it for me as a Christmas gift. Talk about the perfect gift for me! This shirt has been on repeat on my days off. It’s the first one I grab when I go into my closet. Usually I’m not the biggest fan of the color grey, especially with tees. But, I’m willing to make this one work in the winter! This tee probably won’t get much wear in the summer, though, because #ImSweaty.

I’m a graphic tee fiend, so I have quite a few that I consider to be favorites in my closet. I’ve found that the best places to buy graphic tees include Free People, Urban Outfitters, and MATE the Label.

Blueberry Cotton Candy Swirl Sweater

Yes, that’s exactly what I think of when I wear this sweater. I think I wear it so much because my eyes just gravitate toward it when I open my closet door. This sweater was from Urban Outfitters, and I bought it before I left the company to start my new job! I originally wanted this sweater in a different pattern, but ended up with this one on a whim because my size was sold out.

I’m so HAPPY I chose this one instead because blue is one of my favorite colors to wear. Per usual, you can probably already guess my favorite places to buy winter sweaters. Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie have never failed me in the sweater department, so give them a try! Both stores run pretty consistent sales on full-price items and sale merchandise, so sign up for their emails.

Well, that’s all I have for ya today! Five items on constant repeat in my closet! I hope that you enjoy the rest of your week and experiment with your personal style in some capacity!

Until next time!

Alicia
