Hello, hello! Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes! I’m so happy you’re here.
Today’s blog post is all about overnight face masks, because you know how obsessed I am with skin care! Overnight masking is something that needs to be popularized because it is the most crucial step in a skincare routine. SO MANY GOOD THINGS happen to your skin while you sleep. It repairs from the day’s stress, it builds collagen, and it boosts production of different substances that protect your skin, making it look hydrated and fresh.
Needless to say, we should all be using an overnight mask at least twice a week, if not more. Today I’ll be sharing three of my favorite overnight masks.
I want to make a note that “troublesome skin” doesn’t mean that you have acne. Troublesome could mean you wake up with dry patches, or your skin looks dull in the morning. Whatever you perceive of the word troublesome in regard to skin, I think you will benefit from these multifunctional overnight face masks!
Let’s get started!
Birch Juice⢠Hydro Sleeping Pack
This face mask is from Korean beauty brand, E Nature. I’m obsessed with K-beauty, so about 98% of my skincare routine contains products from different K-beauty brands. This mask is an absolute game-changer when it comes to moisturizing.
If you need a mask to make your skin look moisturized, tight, and dewy in the morning, USE THIS. It contains birch tree sap, chamomile, and plantain seed extracts to lock in moisture like I’ve never experienced before.
I love using this mask the night before a big event. Whenever I use this mask, I am SHOOK by how good my skin looks in the morning. It’s a little bit heavier in consistency, so you don’t need to use a lot of it to see results. I’ve tried A LOT of face masks, and this is one of the few that delivers far beyond what it promises.
Eco Your Skin is another great K-beauty brand that I’m obsessed with. Their Lavender Milk overnight mask is a must-pack for me whenever I’m traveling. It’s packed with milk proteins to moisturize your skin, but it also has the lightest lavender aroma that knocks me right to sleep.
This is an awesome mask to use if you’re not feeling the best, or if you’re stressed. I’m not joking when I say that I have some of the soundest sleeps whenever I use this mask. The lavender is so soothing to the mind and the skin.
If you have acne-prone skin, this mask contains salicylic acid, which you probably know helps exfoliate to reveal cleaner, healthier skin. A little bit of this mask goes a long way. I use about a dime-sized amount and pat it onto my face as the last step of my routine.
Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask
This mask has been a staple in my skincare routine for two years now. That’s how consistently good it is. My skin has fluctuated a lot over the years, but this mask has always helped. It not only moisturizes, but it brightens skin, too.
If you have any pesky acne scars or dark spots that annoy you, this is a good mask to incorporate into your routine twice a week. I would say this is definitely my favorite every-night mask. It is fragrance-free and you could use it as a daily moisturizer or to get rid of any dry, flaky spots.
I can’t recommend this mask enough if you’re just getting into the overnight masking game. I also want to mention that this mask is clean and vegan friendly. So, if you’re like me and have growing concerns about what is in your skincare products, try this mask.
Well, that’s all I have for ya today! I hope that you consider these overnight masks for kicking troublesome skin to the curb!
Wishing you lots of good vibes this weekend!
Until next time!
