Bold + Bright Colors For Fall

Hello, friends! Wow, it seems like I haven’t written on here in ages, but I’m back again on a regular basis — I promise! The past week has been so hectic for me. If you read my last post on the blog, you’ll remember that I mentioned I was moving! Well, those moving plans turned into moving and hurricane preparation plans, which left me super slammed and stressed about trying to get everything figured out!

I made it back to Ohio safe and sound after a 15-hour drive that was interesting, to say the least! Where I lived in South Carolina was under a mandatory evacuation, so even if I hadn’t already made plans to move back when I did, I definitely think I still would have evacuated. As an Ohio girl, never did I ever think I would need to prep for a Category 4 hurricane on my own, so it was a little bit crazy!

To all of my South Carolina friends — you’re in my thoughts and I’m sending you all lots of good vibes to stay safe during the storm! <3

I’m going to shift gears from my stressed-out-hurricane-mode to share a trend that I’m so excited to incorporate into my fall wardrobe: bright colors! I’m personally not one to follow trends. Of course I love reading fashion magazines and seeing what’s new each season, but I never stress over trying to incorporate those trends into my wardrobe.

acs_0150-1acs_0152This fall, I’m looking to really elevate my personal style and try new things that I haven’t in years prior. Now that I’m back in Cleveland, I’m so excited to have a fall that actually has fall weather — versus last fall in coastal South Carolina where it really didn’t get below 75 degrees until the middle of December. I’m definitely not complaining about those temperatures because it was SO NICE!

However, I love layering and chilly fall weather, so I’m so pumped for the season! Any who, this tunic* from Caite is perfect for my plan to bring brighter colors into my fall wardrobe. I feel like in years prior, I always aimed for more neutral colors when it came to my fall wardrobe, but that’s so boring! It’s time to jazz it up with bright colors!

This tunic is so light and flowy, which I love. I can basically wear this tunic year-round because it can double as a bathing suit cover-up! The turquoise embroidery detailing is such a fun addition to this eccentric top. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve always loved personal style and pushing its limits within my life. This top is something that is completely different from anything I have in my closet and I love that.

If you walked into your closet every morning and had the same style of clothing, wouldn’t that get boring for you?!

Spice up your personal style by incorporating fun new pieces into your wardrobe this fall that make you feel bold and confident!

Well, that’s all I have for ya today! I’m so beyond pumped to be back in Ohio and to be getting back onto my regular blog programming for you all. Stay tuned for more fun blog posts within the coming weeks! You’re all awesome and I love you for reading!

Until next time!
