Lazy Day Outfit Inspiration

Hey, all! It’s Friday! Who else is excited? I know that I am! 🙂 Today on the blog, I’m sharing one of my favorite lazy day outfits that I hope will inspire some of your own! We’re all busy individuals with jobs and social lives, but sometimes we crave a simple, lazy day where we can just chill at home. I used to hate having downtime or lazy days because I would get bored so easily, but I’ve learned to cherish those days since I entered the full-time work force!

My lazy days are usually composed of catching up on any shows I’m behind on, reading a few chapters in a book, and doing some kind of craft or DIY project! This weekend is definitely another weekend to chill out and relax, being as I’m off from my part-time job! Bring on the popcorn and movie marathon!

Although I take my lazy days to be, well, lazy, I do still like to catch up on any miscellaneous projects or work that I’ve put off. I find that when I change out of my pajamas and into an outfit that I love, I’m so much more productive. Now, this doesn’t mean that I’m throwing on my favorite dress from Gal Meets Glam Collection — it just means I’m encouraging myself to get shit done by looking somewhat together!

On my days off, the first thing I grab to wear is my pair of cropped Levi’s. I think I found these at Nordstrom Rack, if I’m not mistaken, and they are now my favorite jeans of all time. For reference, if you are looking to buy a pair of Levi’s, definitely size up from what you usually wear because they are a true denim with less spandex in comparison to other denim brands out there.

For today’s outfit, I wanted to throw something comfy on top since I’m planning on staying inside with the AC for most of the day. Bring on the tunic! I personally love the look of a longer, flowy top, which is why I love tunics so much. This one is from the Wandering Wardrobe, if you’re from the Cleveland area. I love the mix of polka dots and stripes because it’s not as boring as a solid top! You know me — I’m all about patterns!

I finished off this look with one of my classic camel-colored panama hats and my checked Vans. Two accessories that I cannot live without! What I love about this hat is that it sits on the top of my head perfectly, making it my go-to for any days when my hair is deflated and lacks volume. These Vans are so easy to throw on and go, which is why you’ll often see me wearing them on my days off! Also —  make your Vans last by investing in a Magic Eraser to keep them lookin’ fresh and clean!

So there you have it, my lazy day outfit! I can assure you that I’ll be wearing it tomorrow, and honestly, I’ll probably wear the jeans on Sunday, too!

What is your go-to outfit for a lazy day at home? I would love to hear how you’re styling your outfits for days like these!

Have an awesome weekend, friends! I’ll see you again on the blog this Monday! Don’t forget to do something this weekend that makes you feel like YOU!

Until next time,

Alicia <3
