Young, Wild & 23

Howdy, all you good vibin’ people!

Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes!

Today’s blog post is a little bit different. In honor of my 23rd birthday, I’ll be sharing 23 random things about me that you may not know! I thought that this would be an awesome way for any of my readers who don’t know me personally to get a better understanding of who I am!

I’m not really sure how else to preface this post other than get ready to read some real cool stuff!

Here we go!

I was born and raised in Ohio, but I have dreams of living everywhere from California to Paris.

I’m so fascinated by astrology that I made my own birth chart after researching how to do it.

When I was in high school, I decided to dye my hair brown to see what it would be like. Long story short, I hated it after two months and decided to go back to blonde after that and never looked back!

I’m horrible at riding bicycles. Ask anyone who has ever gone on a bike ride with me. I swerve everywhere!

I’m pretty good at playing both electric and acoustic guitar. I took lessons for six years and it’s always been something I go back to because I love it.

I absolutely love Harry Potter. Like, so much that I don’t even let anyone borrow my 8-film DVD set.

I have a degree in journalism from Ohio University. Go Bobcats!

I love snail mail. I send cards to family and friends all the time!

I’m usually always working on a new DIY project that I find on Pinterest.

I have a five-year memory journal that I record entries in every single day.

I love cheesy 80’s movies. The Goonies, Teen Witch & Pretty in Pink are just a few of my favorites!

I’m obsessed with drinking water. I drink a gallon every single day, and my friends always call this water bottle my personal water tower.

I love cooking, but I hate following recipes, which is why I tend to make things up based on flavor combinations that I like.

I have the North Star tattooed on my wrist. For me, it serves as a reminder that no matter where I go in life, I’ll always find my way back home.

I’ve been on a gluten-free diet for over two months now after realizing how much gluten negatively affected my propensity for migraines. Haven’t had one since I went gluten-free, just saying!

I love being outside. If I could sit outside all day, from sun up to sun down, I would do it without any hesitation!

I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean, and I really want to be scuba certified in the next few years.

The one and only time I went cliff-jumping, I somehow managed to do a cannonball and hit the water so hard that I thought I broke both my legs. LOL!

I’m low key terrified of heights, but this past summer I did two things to try and get over it. Rode on a ferris wheel at a carnival and in a cable car up into the mountains in Italy.

When I was in high school, most of my english teachers thought I didn’t have the potential or skill to be a writer, which is why I was so set on being a journalism major to prove to myself that I could do it.

I have the biggest sweet tooth. Ice cream, gluten-free brownies, milkshakes — I never turn down dessert!

When I retire, I want to open a vineyard somewhere.

I thought that 22 was an unbelievably awesome year, but I’ve got a good feeling that 23 is going to be pretty great, too!

Well, that’s all I’ve got for ya today!
