Welcome back to Stylishly Good Vibes!

Today’s post is all about this amazingly vibrant magenta coat! This has been a staple in my wardrobe for probably six years. I apologize to anyone who was thinking of buying it. Nordstrom no longer sells this particular coat, but I did find alternative options in other bright colors below!

Magenta has been my favorite color for as long as I can remember. Ask anyone, my phone case, my agenda, my makeup bag… ALL MAGENTA! So, when I found this coat during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, I had to buy it!

A bright coat is the easiest way to really make an outfit pop, and although I was worried about what I could wear with this coat, I bought it anyway! Surprisingly, this coat goes with everything. It’s all about the way that you style the entirety of an outfit. Maintaining a relatively subdued color palette among the remaining items of your outfit is best with a coat like this.

Now, when it comes to a structured coat, it’s so important to try it on before you buy it. Seems simple enough, I know. But I’ve purchased coats without trying them on before, only to get home and have the sleeves be way too short on me.

You should be looking for these three things when buying a structured coat such as this:

1.) Can I comfortably lift my arms above my head?

2.) Would I be able to fit a sweatshirt underneath the coat?

3.) Are the sleeves long enough when I stretch my arms out in front of me?

With those three things in mind, having the courage to buy a jaw-droppingly bright and comfortable coat should become something that you don’t second guess!

I want to take a second to talk about this tunic because I’m literally obsessed with it! I’m all about purchasing items that are on sale, so when I found this on super markdown at Nordstrom Rack, I just had to buy it. The bell sleeves are such an unexpected touch to an otherwise standard tunic design.

I’ve been all about this style of top for a while now, especially with the colder temperatures quickly approaching. You seriously cannot go wrong with a patterned tunic that you can wear by itself, with a chunky knit sweater or a denim jacket.

I know that there can be some hesitation about wearing floral prints in the colder months because they’re too “summery.”

Well, they aren’t!

Floral prints are one of those staple patterns in your wardrobe that never go out of style, so don’t fear wearing your favorite floral patterned tops in this in-between-winter phase of weather! I’ll be rocking my floral print well into the snowy months because what better way to make summer come faster!

Stylishly Good Vibes isn’t only about embracing your personal style and spreading good vibes. It’s also about bringing positive energy into your life. If I’ve learned anything in the process of creating this blog and this brand, it’s that you have to stay positive, no matter what!

I’m all about spreading good energy, and I think that it should be something that everyone strives to do!

Stylishly Good Vibes’ Bit of Advice:

Be a ray of sunshine!

As cheesy as that sounds, and trust me I know that some of you are probably thinking “She’s too peppy,” but I’m so serious!

Bringing positive energy into your life is as simple as creating the positive energy that you want to see. Being optimistic is probably one of my favorite things ever, so I challenge you:

Be optimistic and positive with every experience you have for a day.

It’s some awesome stuff, my friends!

Until next time!
